The CIP Oral History Project is a research project funded by the CIP Program and conducted by George Mason University’s Center for History and New Media (CHNM) that ran from July 2003 to the publication of Critical Path, a book detailing the history of CIP in the United States, in 2006. The CIP Program is continuing to build on the work initially conducted as part of the Project.
Materials reviewed as part of the CIP Oral History Project are found in the CIP Digital Archive within the CIP Library. This webpage also links to a list of oral history interviews conducted by Project staff.
CIP Oral History Survey
To further enhance the historical record on CIP maintained through the CIP Program, visitors are invited participate in a survey on their personal experiences with CIP, from policy-making to incidents affecting critical infrastructure. This survey, or questionnaire, includes those questions originally developed by the CIP Oral History Project staff. It is available in both PDF (form) and Microsoft Word formats.
If you choose to participate in this endeavor, please respond to the questions posed and submit the questionnaire via email to Liz Hale at ehale2@gmu.edu.
