Externally Funded Projects

Leveraging the continued success of the core CIP Program research and the support from NIST, the CIP Program has expanded to include three additional, externally funded projects:

  • The Private Sector Program was established in December 2003.
  • The National Capital Region Critical Infrastructure Vulnerability Assessment Project was established in March 2004.
  • The Energy and Measures for Risk Mitigation and Transfer project was established in August 2004.
  • The National Infrastructure Protection Plan Metrics project was established in January 2007.
