National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) Metrics Project
The CIP Program began researching issues in support of National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) metrics and performance assessment through a contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Infrastructure Protection in January 2007. The Program’s research includes topics such as information collection, sharing, and use, as well as applicable authorities, and risk management training. This research aims to improve information sharing between the public and private sectors for the enhancement of critical infrastructure protection and the public-private partnership.
